Trauma Recovery
Program — 90 Days.

For those ready
to go all the way.

You have been here before. Perhaps you completed a programme that gave you a few good weeks, a renewed sense of hope, a handful of tools that worked beautifully right up until ordinary life closed back in around you. You have read the books, sat with the right therapist, done the breathing, kept the journal, and still felt the same patterns reassert themselves the moment you were tired or stretched or alone. None of that means you failed. It usually means the work simply did not have the time it needed to take root.

The 90-day option at Holina Healing Centre is not a longer version of a short stay. It is a different proposition altogether. Three months in the hills of Khao Yai, far enough from your daily life that it cannot reach in and reorganise you, long enough that the changes you make have the chance to become who you are rather than something you are temporarily performing. This is the commitment people choose when they have decided that this time it has to hold.

What 90 Days Actually Changes

The most committed people
choose a longer stay.

There is a reason for this, and it has very little to do with willpower or effort. It has to do with how the nervous system actually changes, and how long that genuinely takes. Rewiring deeply learned responses is slow, patient work that happens through repetition and safety sustained over time, not through insight alone.

The threshold for lasting change

A new way of regulating yourself has to be practised again and again, in a setting calm enough that the old alarm does not keep firing, until it becomes the body’s default. Three months gives the nervous system enough consistent, repeated experience of safety for a new baseline to settle.

What shorter stays cannot reach

Complex and developmental trauma lives in layers. The first weeks of any programme are spent building safety so deeper material can come forward. In a short stay, by the time that foundation is in place, it is nearly time to leave. The deepest patterns never get their turn.

From learning to becoming

The brain is capable of profound change, but it changes through repetition and safety, not insight alone. The timescale is not arbitrary. It is the difference between learning something and becoming it.

Depth that needs solid ground

The deepest patterns, laid down early and reinforced over decades, cannot safely begin until the ground beneath them is solid. The 90-day programme is built so the most demanding work happens after that foundation is secure.

Why people return for 90

We meet many people on their second visit. They came for a shorter stay, felt something genuine shift, and watched the old gravity slowly pull them back. Coming back is a decision made with clear eyes. They have felt it work, and decided to give it the time required to make it permanent.

Relief was the doorway

What people tell us, almost without exception, is that they did not realise how much further there was to go until they had begun. They felt the relief of regulation and assumed that was the destination, when in fact it was the doorway.

Designed for those whose situation
genuinely calls for depth and time.

  • Carry complex or developmental trauma with a long history that has shaped relationships, work, and sense of self over many years
  • Have had prior treatment that helped but did not hold, and never had the sustained container that allows change to consolidate
  • Are ready to rebuild from the ground up, not to patch or cope a little better, but to genuinely reconstruct the foundations of how they live
  • Understand that difficulty woven into the fabric of a life over decades takes more than a few weeks to honestly unpick
  • Want a programme that respects the reality of their situation rather than pretending otherwise
Three Phases Of The Journey

Not three identical months.
Three distinct phases, each building on the last.

Phase 1 · Month One: Arrival & Stabilisation

The first month is about arriving, in every sense. Your clinical team spends this time understanding your history with care and helping your nervous system find steadiness. Sleep begins to regulate. The constant background hum of vigilance begins to quieten. Gentle, regulating work, somatic practices, breathwork, sound healing and time in nature, teaches your body what calm feels like. This is the container being built.

Phase 2 · Month Two: Deep Therapeutic Work

With a solid foundation in place, the second month moves into the heart of the work. This is the phase of pattern interruption. Through somatic and polyvagal therapy, movement, biofeedback and individual psychotherapy, your nervous system is given repeated, supported experiences of responding differently. Demanding work, and deeply relieving, because the source of the patterns is met directly rather than managed from a distance.

Phase 3 · Month Three: Integration & Life Architecture

The final month turns towards the future. We work on identity, on who you are becoming as the old patterns loosen their grip, and on the practical structure of the life you will return to. Together we build the daily practices, boundaries, relationships and routines that will hold your progress once you leave. You depart with a clear plan rather than a hope.

Paced To Your System

The programme is sequenced so that the hardest work happens only when your system is genuinely ready for it, never before. The first month is deliberately gentle. The second is the most demanding. The third softens again into integration and looking forward. It is more deep rather than simply more intense.

The full stack.
Nothing needs to be left out.

The 90-day option offers the most comprehensive access to everything Holina Healing provides. Because you have the time, your programme can be sequenced and layered with a sophistication a shorter stay simply does not allow. At its core sit somatic therapy and polyvagal therapy, supported by movement therapy for trauma, biofeedback, and dedicated nervous system regulation work. Rebirthing breathwork, sound healing and aquatic tuning offer routes to the body that words alone cannot reach, while individual psychotherapy and group therapy provide the relational depth where so much healing happens.

Alongside the psychological and somatic work sits a full programme of physical restoration. Hyperbaric oxygen therapy, IV vitamin therapy, Ayurvedic medicine and treatments, and therapeutic massage support your body through what is genuinely demanding work. Over 90 days these are not occasional additions but a sustained, integrated part of your recovery, allowing the physical and the psychological to heal in concert.

What You Leave With

The measure of a programme
is what remains real a year later.

The 90-day option is designed so that you leave changed at every level, not on the final morning, but for the life that follows it.

Clinical

You leave having done the deep work, not begun it. Given three months of sustained safety and skilled support, your nervous system leaves with a genuinely different baseline. The trauma that has shaped so much has been met and processed, and your body has learned, through long repetition, how to regulate itself.

Personal

Beyond the clinical, there is the quieter return of yourself. Over three months, the person beneath the patterns and the bracing comes back into view. You leave with clarity about what matters, a steadier sense of identity, and a rebuilt capacity for connection, work, rest, and joy.

Practical

You leave with the concrete and the usable. A set of practices that are genuinely yours because you have lived them daily for months, the tools to regulate yourself when life becomes difficult, and a clear, personalised aftercare plan so the transition home is supported rather than abrupt.

Three months in one place
becomes something closer to belonging.

The landscape becomes part of the work

Over a longer stay you come to know the particular quality of the morning light and the slow turn of the season. A regulated nervous system is built, in part, through sustained contact with calm, living surroundings, and three months allows that contact to do its quiet work fully.

A place you carry home

You witness the landscape change around you as you yourself change. Many people find that long after they leave, the memory of this place remains a settling presence, somewhere they can return to in their minds when they need to find their ground.

Privacy held in complete confidence

A three-month absence requires careful handling. Our team is experienced in supporting guests through how their absence is explained and managed, with sensitivity and without judgement. Your stay, your story and your recovery remain entirely your own.

Common Questions

The questions
almost everyone asks.

How do I manage work and responsibilities for 90 days?

Our admissions team will talk through your particular circumstances before you arrive and help you think through how to structure your absence, supporting the privacy and boundaries that make a clean break possible. For many people, their responsibilities have already been suffering under the weight of what they are carrying, and recovery is what finally allows them to return as themselves.

Is the programme more intensive in later phases?

It is more deep rather than simply more intense. The first month is deliberately gentle. The second, with that foundation in place, moves into the most demanding work. The third softens again into integration. The hardest work happens only when your system is genuinely ready for it.

Can family visit?

Yes, and family involvement is often a valuable part of recovery. Visits are arranged thoughtfully and at the right point in your journey, with your clinical team’s guidance. The early stabilisation phase usually needs to be protected, but as you move through the programme there is room to involve the people who matter to you.

What does aftercare look like after 90 days?

Aftercare is built into the final phase of your stay. During the third month we work with you to create a clear, personalised plan for your return, covering the daily practices, support structures and routines that will hold your progress at home, so the transition feels supported and continuous rather than a sudden drop.
