Trauma and emotional pain are often experienced in isolation — carried quietly, and hidden from others. Group therapy creates a structured, carefully held space in which that isolation can ease. Being witnessed by peers who understand, without judgement, is a therapeutic experience in itself.
At Holina, group therapy is offered twice weekly as a core part of every programme. Groups are small, facilitated by a trained clinician, and structured to provide both safety and genuine engagement.
Groups at Holina are intentionally small. This preserves the sense of safety and allows every participant to be genuinely present — not lost in a crowd.
Each session is led by a trained therapist who holds the structure, paces the process, and ensures the group remains a therapeutically productive space.
The relational dynamics that emerge in group — how people engage, react, and connect — are themselves therapeutic material. Much of what group therapy offers cannot be replicated in individual work alone.
Group sessions run twice a week, complementing daily individual therapy. They offer a different rhythm — one that draws on connection and shared experience as part of the healing process.
